Meet your coach: Liz Howe

With over 15 years of experience in scientific research and a decade of personal nutrition coaching, I am passionate about transforming lives through nutrition. The vast majority of my career has been focused on metabolic disease and I specialized in obesity research at Harvard and Diabetes research in Biotech. I believe that nutrition is a powerful tool for change, and I am committed to guiding others on their journey toward better health.

As the dedicated nutrition coach for a local CrossFit gym, I combine evidence-based strategies with practical advice to help athletes and everyday individuals optimize their performance and well-being. NutriLab’s approach is rooted in understanding the unique needs of each client, ensuring personalized support that promotes sustainable lifestyle changes.

My Approach

Whether your goal is to improve your health or to excel in athletic performance , nutrition serves as the crucial link between fitness and health. The way we eat can either enhance or hinder our fitness journey over time. Since we make food choices daily throughout our lives, these decisions significantly impact how we look, feel, think, sleep, learn, move, and thrive in all aspects of our lives.  Many cases of obesity and chronic diseases are largely preventable through improvements in diet and lifestyle.

At Nutrilab, we utilize science-based nutritional strategies to help you reach your full potential and achieve lasting health.  We use this foundation to create personalized meal plans that align with your unique needs, to fuel your body with the right amounts of the right foods.  Our coaching embraces a flexible, macro-based approach that removes food restrictions and eliminates the need for daily macro tracking.  Our mission is to support your wellness journey by helping you build simple, habit-based routines that fit seamlessly into your daily life. Instead of focusing on “diets” or striving for perfect food intake, we aim to create actionable steps each week that lead to lifelong healthy habits.
